10/12/2017 Removing the wood flooring from the kitchen. They are nailed down so Rich has to remove one by one…

2017年10月12日　今日はキッチンの床剥がし。リッチが剥がして、私が剥がした板についている釘を折るというプロジェクト。板を1枚ずつ剥がさないといけないので地味だし意外と時間がかかって1日で終わらず。

We wanted to save wood but it is hard to remove nails(so many) so we gave up.
板を何かに再利用しようと思ったけど、釘を抜くのが大変すぎてあっさり断念。

で、、、金槌でひたすら釘を折る。。。

冷蔵庫の後ろもペンキ塗らないと！

We completed our move from California to New York in late summer in 2017 and bought a house in the Hudson Valley, about 90 minutes north of Manhattan.
