12/6/2018 Hello December! Christmas is just around the corner. We came back from Florida earlier this week. We were away for 12 days and there were so many nameless chores that I needed to do after coming home. It was hectic but we were able to catch up. Anyway, It has been almost a year since we moved in here. Time flies! We have been through 4 seasons here and we both agreed that the biggest difference between living in California and New York is the RAIN! We’ve had so much rain since summer (as we all know that California is in a severe drought) . I wish we could somehow send the rain to California and the drought would be over soon. Anyway, we put our tiny and “fake” Christmas tree up and decorated the living/dining room. Hope Mr. Santa visit us again this year.
2018年12月6日 気がつけば12月。今年も残すところ二十数日。フロリダから帰ってきて数日が経ち、ほたらかしにしていた家での細々な雑用もいつも通りのルーティーンに戻りました。そして引っ越しからほぼ一年（12月9日で丸１年）が経ち、この土地で春夏秋冬が一巡しました。カリフォルニア州に住んでいた時との一番の大きな違いは雨。今年はとにかく良く雨が降りました。この雨を干ばつのカリフォルニアに分けてあげたいと何度思ったことか。さて、昨日、ずっと後回しにしていたクリスマスの飾りを出しました。友人宅にお邪魔すると大きくて立派な本物のクリスマスツリーを飾っていることが多く、うちのをみるとなんとも残念な感じではありますが、、、でも私はこの小さくてニセモノなツリーで十分です。それよりもサンタさんからプレゼントがもらえるように「ヒント」を送らないと！
