4/21/2020 When we did our initial renovation before moving in, we only put the primer paint in the closets. Since no one sees inside the closets and they are covered with stuff anyway we thought it is good enough. But when we went to Lowe’s a couple months ago, we saw an aromatic cedar closet liner kit. It smelled nice so we bought some. It didn’t happen right away but Rich finally has time to do! And he decide to do with MY closet!
2020年4月21日 我が家のクローゼットは、家を買ったときに前の色のペンキを消すために白いプライマーという色消しのペンキを塗ったまま、そのまま使っていました。別に人が見るわけでもなく、大部分は洋服で隠れているのでそれで十分なのですが、随分前にホームセンターに行った時に良い香りのする杉の木のDIYセットを見つけたので、これでクローゼットをリノベーションしてみよう！ということになり、何箱か買って来ていました。我が家の大工さん、買ってきて満足したのか、暫くの間そのままになっていたのですが、数日前にようやくチャンスが到来して約束どおりクローゼットを仕上げてくれました。

Next, he designed the L shape brackets and made them with leftover cedar board from our deck.
次は棚用のL型ブラケット。こちらも杉の木（デッキに使った余った木）で作りました。

棚も同じく余った杉の木を糊でくっつけて、削ってヤスって平らにしてあります。

He did it! I now have more space and I can even put stuff in shaker boxes. Thank you and well done, baby!
プロジェクト完了！棚が3段あるのは嬉しい。今までは1段しかなかったので、あまり服や物を重ねなれなかったけれど、これならば箱も置けるし色々な小物もしまえるし収納力アップです。リッチ君、ありがとう！この後、他のクローゼットもやるのかはともかく、本人も出来栄えに満足していて何よりです。
