Garden relocating project 庭の引越し#1

11/20/2022 It’s been over a year since we started discussing relocating our garden. The current location is a bit far from the house. We run the hose above ground and set auto irrigation system in summer but there is one problem… We have to disconnect the hose every time we use lawn mower and what worse is that when we are away, we have to ask the contractor to do so. Such a pain in the neck… Burying the hose is one idea but we decided to move the garden closer to the house. We started working on the project right after tomato and green pepper season was over.

2022年11月10日　昨年から夫婦の間で交わされて続けている庭引越し談義。今までの場所は家から少し離れていて、自動の灌水装置を設置するのに長いホースを使っていました。夏の間は週１で芝刈りをするので、その度にホースを一旦外して、芝刈り機をかけて、またホースをつなげるという手間のかかることをしていて、更に旅行に出るとなると芝刈り業者にこれをお願いするので、業者さんもそんな面倒なことはやりたくないし、こちらもつけ忘れられたら困るので出来るだけ頼みたくないという何とも歯痒い感じのままこれまでやっていました。ホースを土に埋めるという方法もあるけれど、庭が家に近い方がいいんじゃないかという話になり、家の側面に移すという結論に至りました。ということで、トマトやピーマンの収穫時期が終わると同時に引越しプロジェクトを開始！ここからは写真でどうぞ。
