9/8/2018 Rich made a professional work bench. It took him a while but he finally completed the project. He’s already made one a while ago but he wanted to build a nicer one for his “man cave” like a furniture piece. My problem here is I’ve taken a bunch of pictures but I don’t know how to explain what he was doing… So please enjoy the images!!
2018年9月8日 少し前の話になりますが、リッチ君が木工細工用の新しい作業台を作りました。以前にも作ったことがあるけれどとても簡易的なものだったので、今回は設計図を買ってきて本格的なものを作り、マンケイブ（男部屋）に家具の様に飾ることが目的だそうです。作業工程を写真に収めましたが、私には専門用語が分からず、何をしているのか説明できません（泣）写真だけでご容赦を!
Well I can at least explain this! We went to a lumber yard and he spent more than 1 hour to find what he wanted. He was thinking to get maple but decided to go with pine, the soft wood. 材木屋にて。カウボーイのような格好で品定め中ｗ メープルの木（硬い）を買う予定でいたけれど、結局選んだのは松ノ木（軟らかい）でした。軟らかい方が取り扱いやすいためです。ということで以下、写真のみです。
Ta-da!! This is the end product. Not bad right!? Rich ordered metal pieces for a Moxon vise, a leg vise and casters but he did all the wooden pieces.
完成品です。かなり良い感じに出来上がりました。キャスター、バイスのメタルの部分は部品を購入していますが、木のパーツはすべてリッチ君が作っています。ということで、次はこの後マンケイブがどうなったかをお伝えしたいと思います。
